Lo!  You have reached the Levelord's home page.  This page is under construction. It is, in fact, a living document.  Growing and breathing and pulsating with the very life that is our gaming community.  Pulsing and throbbing and undulating to every poke and prod, every whip and whim that may... ...oh, sorry!

It has been raining here in Dallas for 17 days.  That's a new record since 1940.

Cowboys don't like swamps, but the Levelord hasn't been this happy in a long time!

Creepy dream last night... ...was sitting in some crowded public place, not sure where exactly.  It was like a food service area in a crowded shopping mall.  I was sitting with my brother Charlie and we were laughing and joking, about what I can't remember now.

We see my Dad approaching and, as he gets near, I look towards Charlie and tell him "You know, he's dead, right?".  As I turn back to look at my Dad, who has now vanished, Charlie says "Ya, I know, me too.".  Returning to look at Charlie, he is now gone.  Weird shit in the brain.  Makes you think "you" are not alone up there.

Wow!  ...I didn't expect a, ...you know.  Yesterday's question about the Easter Egg texture in Condition Zero?  I received many humorous emails.  Intelligence agents and translators (no shit), professional linguists, Arabic-speaking people, ...none of them could guess what the secret message is.  Some suggested it may be Hebrew, or Amheric, or some other Middle Eastern language.  The people that did get it knew nothing about Arabic.  Pretty obvious once you know what it says, and who wrote it ;)

More about Counter Strike:Condition Zero, ...DE_Dust.  I was tasked to upgrade this classic while we worked on the Deleted Scenes (you know, after having now played Black Hawk Down and Call of Duty, two great games, I really don't understand why no one liked what we did, ...but that's not funny, so who cares;).

Anyways, I was in the map and feeling VERY uncomfortable and nervous.  I felt like an art apprentice in the Sistine Chapel, there to do some touching-up and restoration of one of the paragons of the medium.  How can you improve perfection, or even try to upgrade it?  So, I set out to change nothing other than textures and lighting, and added a few models, ...not a single crate was resized or moved, nor any other gameplay geometry.

Then I realized the historic value of this great opportunity.  I realized that even though I may be a mere serf in a maestro's mansion, I had to add a little graffiti.  I had to add some sort of geometry to say that I had been there, some sort of mark of Ritualization.  I, of course, emailed Dave Johnston a dozen times to make sure it was okay.

These are the two marks I made, fully sanctioned by Mr. Johnston, ...a pair of, ...domes, ...and a tall, proud, erect, ...tower.

As much as I love the sound of Arabic, and even more the incredibly beautiful flow of the script...

...I can't read a single word of it.  Can anyone help?

This is from The Infamous Deleted Scenes in Counter Strike:Condition Zero.

Does anyone know what message is written on the wall?
