Lo!  You have reached the Levelord's home page.  This page is under construction. It is, in fact, a living document.  Growing and breathing and pulsating with the very life that is our gaming community.  Pulsing and throbbing and undulating to every poke and prod, every whip and whim that may... ...oh, sorry!

I remember Grandma was my hero!

I spend alot of my time dwelling in the past.  I'm very nostalgic and reflective.  I suspect this is because I moved every five years as a kid, so homesickness was early entwined in my brain.

For the most part, I really enjoy conjuring memories.  It's been a pretty fortunate life for the Levelord, and add to that, remembered past times always have that nice filter set to remove the bad stuff.

For some reason, the other day, I was remembering how much of a hero Grandma was to me when I was about 2 years old.  It was potty training time.  Both Mom and Dad worked, like dogs, and Grandma was living with us.  She won the duty of teaching me to sit on the little, plastic porta-potty.

It wasn't the potty training itself that made Grandma a hero, it was teaching me how to first pull up my underwear, THEN pull up my pants.  I still remember how frustrating it was when my underpants and pants got all wound up in a big knotted roll around my knees.  Bless you, Grandma ;)

You know what else I remember?  ...having to point my little pecker down and hold it there while I pissed.  At that age, it pretty much pointed upwards no matter what time it was ;)

You want to talk about immersion?

I played Call of Duty (second time) over the weekend,

...while watching Band of Brothers,

...WOW!  Hat's off to both!
