If I seem to be unavailable for the next 8 weeks,
it's because I'll be over at Rogue helping with Alice. What a great stroke of fate! I'm
not psyched about jumping from Heavy Metal crunching directly into another game's last
stretch, but anytime I can work on a game with a twisted theme, and little girls, and
drugs, ...well, you know, I'm there!

Alice fucking rules! I knew it was going to be a pick
of mine because I do love the original stories, but Rogue has done some way cool shit. I
am really envious! They couldn't have done it without our technology, of course, but, you
know ;) Seriously, I am so bummed that I won't get to play this one right out of the box.

What a hellacious time it's been! This is just
to say "Sorry!" to any and all. The Alice thing is keeping me away from the
world and my Mom severely broke her ankle. I've spent most of the past week and a half at
Baylor Hospital. I have two dogs to take care of now, too. Wow! Again, sorry for being
out-of-touch. I wish I was still on the FPS Survivore Iseland!

I must say again how cool is this little lass Alice.
I haven't felt this kind of anticipation from a game since Duke. Anyone looking to get
into the game industry should first stop at Rogue. It's no Ritual, but it's a very nice
place to work! ... ;) Here's a "You must be
kidding!"... ...I may be in the November or December issue of GQ. That's right,
...GQ! Anyone who has seen me dress will know what a strange twist this is ;) A writer
from GQ called me for an interview because he's doing a bit about Wallabees. My beloved
Wallabees, they have served me well! He is a fellow ex-hippie and one of the three people
left in the world that still wears these shoes. My Mom was stoked because she used to be a
commercial artist, in the fashion industry, and drew the women on the dress pattern
packages for McCall's and Simplicity.
We're doing an interview for the Sci-Fi channel tonight,
too! ...way cool shit ;)
I know more about my Russian connection now. It seems my
Mom's Dad, my Grandfather that completely disappeared when my Mom was only 6 months old,
was a White Russian. The White Russians were the ones that left the Motherland after the
Revolution. It's strange to find this stuff out at 42 years old. I wonder why I never
heard things before. My Grandmother was a bit wacked and never talked much about him. She
was Welsh, from a family of 14 kids and strongly Victorian in attitudes. My Mom never knew
much either but she has been talking with her Aunt (98 years old) and getting more of the
inside poop. I must take a trip to Russia sometime soon!
