I was just down in the bar catching a smoke
when Ashley, the manager, told me that they showed the Heavy Metal movie on the bar
television system the other night. He loved it. However, he forgot that the television
system has a big screen that shows publically out in the alley. He said three different
parents came in to complain that their children saw naked women. Do the math, children at
the West End at midnight, no mention of all the disturbing gore in the movie, ...just that
their children saw naked women. This is truly a great country, but it has some truly
fucked-up people living in it. It's just nipples, folks!

On a professional note, there's good news, there's bad news, and there's
ugly news. The good news is how cool the SiN Anime is. The bad? ...the DM level thing is
cancelled. I don't know what to say other than I am really bummed and very sorry. I know
some of you had your hopes up on this opportunity. The final CD had to be burned early for
some rescheduling-related reason and I didn't find out until two weeks after the fact.
Finally, of course, the ugly... ...apparently the semi-fictional battle between me and
Clifford Blesinsksksiiksi has spilled over into the semi-factial world, ...and things are
getting nasty. What started out as a funny little game has gotten truly underhanded now.
We're crunching so hard here at Ritual with our beloved Heavy Metal that I barely have
time to wipe my cheeks completely clean, but I won't go down quietly, even if my pants ARE

Our finger has been down for a few days, so this is
just a poke to get the trackers to peek. There is news, bad news, about the SiN Anime DM
levels below. New news... ...obviously the search for a level designer or three has been
on hold as we try to finish this fucker, I mean, game. I am sorry for the recent
let-downs.

smoke, ...a stretch limo pulls up and 6 beautifully young ladies popped out. The bar is
packed, ...packed with beautifully young women. The worst, though, ...they're giving out

We are trying to finish fucking FAKK by Friday ("finish fucking FAKK by Friday",
...soon to be a child's alliterative tongue-twister), and we could REALLY use some good
playtesters. As per Mark's finger challenge the other day, we need true gamers who live
close and don't mind being abused by semi-comatose, fully-psychotic Ritualites to come
playtest for us. The reward? ...you get to play one of the kick-assiest games of the year
(I'm just quoting all the press and websters who have seen the bitch;) and eat pizza.

Let me cast a pre-emptive "I am REALLY sorry!" to any and all emails I haven't
answered. We are burnt and time is a precious commodity. I have enough testers for this

Just like I swear I'll never drink again while I'm puking into the toilet, ...I swear I'll
never make another game again! I've done the string of 36-hour days in the military, done
the final cramming to get through engineering, done the corporate rat race that I
*thought* soaked up one's life, ...but this crunch mode shit is the baddest mo-fo of them
all! I wish I was on the FPS Island right now ;)
