Wow! ...check this shit out! ...I'm actually going to
make a professional finger entry ;) Seriously, the thought is being kicked around about
getting 10 user deathmatch levels to go on the SiN Anime DVD. This is just a thought and
nothing is in motion yet. I'm wondering what sort of response I'd get if we did this. I'm
not sure how much time you would have, either. I'm talking with ADV right now about that.
The level would have to be based on the SiN Anime movie
(it really is kick ass!) and candidates would probably get stills and such from the movie
to work with. There's no money in it, but the designers would get credit and alot of
publicity. We are going to be looking for more level designers in the near future and this
would be a great why to catch our attention, ...wink, wink, knudge, knudge.
Drop me an email (levelord@ritual.com)
and please have something to show other than "I really WANT to make levels for a
living! ...have I made any yet? ...errr, no, but I really want to." kind of requests
;)

...it was one of those last minute things, but thanks to GOD I got to see NIN for the
second time last night. Awesome, awesome, awesome! VIP passes and I actually got to party
with Tim, Paul, and Todd from that silly little Mesquite game company, ...sorry,
seriously, the coolest thing about the show was Trent doing a "special thanks"
to id and Pantera. Envy is indeed an ugly thing ;) If
you're a Nails fan, I highly recommend seeing the show. I last time I saw Nails was back
in 1994 in Worschestishireshipstir, Mass just before heading to Dallas and the living hell
my life has become since. THAT was an incredible show, ...full of grunge and
techo-textures and all warmed-up by White Zombie. Live music is so cool! I was really
worried that this show would be most of Trent's new stuff (Perfect Drug, I Hate Americans,
etc.) which I'm not too keen on. Fortunately, they did almost all of the great songs from
the first 9 Halos. Awesome, ...go see, go see!

Just a quick reminder that Mark Dochtermann and I will be heading over the
the SiNner's Swing LAN Party tomorrow, ...probably around 3-4 pm. We're bringing a bunch
of cool prizes like some SiN Anime posters, a copy of SiN, and a Heavy Metal Soundtrack
CD, ...all signed and sellable on eBay for outrageous amounts of money! http://www.heshtime.com/lanparty/
...it's NEVER too late to enlist!
